Kamal Haasan to Chiranjeevi: Celebs wish fans on Gandhi Jayanti

Actors from South and Hindi film industries wished fans on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. While Kamal Haasan said he regards Bapu like his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi emphasised Mahatma Gandhi’s principles of “peace, perseverance and truth”. Chiyaan Vikram shared a video of himself while wishing fans. On the other hand, Varun Dhawan posed alongside wax statues of Gandhi and PM Narendra Modi. Vijay Sethupathi dropped an update about his upcoming film, Gandhi Talks.
Kamal Haasan shared a photo of Mahatma Gandhi and wrote, “Gandhiji’s life lived in the service of his fellow man, shall withstand the test of time, as the seminal moment in human history, when one simple man altered the course of ideological evolution of human civilisation. As for me, I have taken my own journey both with the man and the idea. He shall always remain my conscience, my Bapu who like my father, taught me that honesty and love for all shall conquer all (sic).”

Chiyaan Vikram wrote, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.’ #happygandhijayanti with love, Gandhi Mahaan (sic).”
Varun Dhawan posted, “Bande mein tha dum Vande Mataram (The man had strength) #gandhijayanti (sic).”
Vijay Sethupathi shared an update about his upcoming film, Gandhi Talks, and wrote, “The voice that matters today, the voice that will echo soon in every corner! Gandhi Jayanthi wishes to all #GandhiTalks coming soon (sic).”
